This specific dimension forces your dog to use their nose, chest, and entire body to push and guide the ball. By preventing them from carrying it like a regular toy, it perfectly unlocks and satisfies their natural, deep-rooted herding instincts.

Many high-drive dogs instinctively know what to do, but you can guide them! Start by rolling the ball gently across the grass yourself. Reward your pup with praise or treats the moment they push it with their nose or chest. Keep early sessions short and exciting to build up their confidence.

Yes, it is much safer than hard plastic or wooden toys! Because the ball is inflatable and flexible, it cushions impacts on their nose and chest. To protect their joints from overexertion during high-intensity sprinting, we recommend limiting playtime to15–20 minutesper session.

We strongly recommend using the herding balloutdoors in an open, grassy area. Dogs like to build up a lot of speed while herding, and an open space gives them the freedom to sprint safely without accidentally bumping into walls, fences, or home furniture.
