Warmmore 18" Heavy-Duty Dog Herding Ball with Cover for High-Energy Breeds

This has been a fun addition for my dogs. The ball is large, sturdy, and gives them a good way to burn off some energy outside. It definitely keeps them interested and gets them moving. I also like that it feels durable enough for bigger dogs. So far, it’s been a great outdoor toy!

The separate inner ball and fabric cover make the whole thing feel well thought out and durable. It is also easy enough to wipe down after outdoor play. Overall, a fun, sturdy choice for energetic dogs.

My dog is a little scared of it, but I think that’s a her thing, ha! I don’t really understand what the handles are for, so I removed a star. It seems durable—my dog tried to bite it and there was no damage. It was easy to put together and inflate. It’s a good size for my 40 lb dog and I think would work for larger dogs, too.

My 7 month old loves it and I don't need to worry about it being punctured. 11 year old loves it too. Great product.

I ordered this herding ball for my mini Aussie. The ball was easy to air up with the included pump. The written instructions are not that clear, but it was easy to get the ball aired up. This is the first herding ball that we've had, so clear instructions were necessary. My young mini Aussie is small and she is a little scared of the ball because it's so much bigger than her, but our Pointer took to it well and had fun. I like that the outer shell of the ball is a little loose, preventing the dogs from tearing the softer inner vinyl ball. The zipper where you insert the inner ball is well-made and zips/unzips easily. This ball bounces very well and is lots of fun. I recommend this herding ball considering the loads of fun and training that it provides.

Bought this for my 2yo energetic mini Aussie. To say he loves this ball is an understatement, he LIVES to chase this ball. The handles a plus as he can toss it around himself. It is the perfect size for my pup. The colors are bright although I don’t think he is overly concerned about the color it’s an BALL and he’s a DOG who lives for herding things (kids, cats, balls). His favorite is when the grandkids are over and the play soccer with him and this herding ball; not sure who has more fun or is worn out more. I will add it is a must to keep this ball fully inflated so the pups can’t puncture it; we have had a to patch but it is holding strong for now.

I have a Bulldog-Lab-Pitty mix, high energy and goes through toys like crazy and spent hundreds of dollars trying to find a toy that will entertain him and last more than a week! It took him a little before he realized this ball was a new toy because it was bigger than any of his other toys and he loves charge the ball full on run and he rolls right over the top of the ball then comes back at it grabbing one of the handles and shakes that ball to the point I think he is going to knock himself out. Very entertaining, he does like to chew on the handles on occasion but even the handles are withstanding his chewing. One of our favorite toys!

This is a great item that gives my pup her exercise without getting bored. The only problems I encountered are the handles and the zipper. My pup has a gnawing problem and even though the stitching held, she chewed the handles off, leaving just about a half inch. And the zipper, you need to figure out a way to hide the zipper as she managed to unzip it and chewed the teeth off. If you have any suggestions, or need a test pup,she would be the one who would challenge you.

Purchased in June 2026. This best toy I have purchased for my Aussie. We play with it everyday. He is 65 pound Aussie Shepherd he wasn’t destroyed it yet still excellent condition.

Well, based on the video of a Rottweiler playing with the ball I thought it should work with my Boxers. Inflated to the point where I thought it would pop, cover was snug......my boy had it popped in less the 30 seconds. So I would say it's not heavy duty for large dogs. Disappointed!

I bought this as a dog toy, but our pony got curious, and now they take turns playing with it! The description wasn't kidding about other large pets. The durable PVC and sturdy Oxford cloth sleeve have held up well against hooves and teeth. Cleaning is a breeze – just unzip the sleeve and machine wash. My dog is happily tired, and so is the horse. This is the most versatile toy we've ever owned.

We live in an apartment, and this herding ball has been amazing for indoor play when the weather is bad. It doesn’t bounce wildly or damage furniture, but it gets my dog moving and thinking. We have a corgi and thought this would be a fun addition to his toys! He’s incredibly toy driven, and obviously because his ancestors were herders we thought it would be a bit funny! Overall, you could not have anticipated the amount of joy this actually brought him! It does need to be inflated, but it’s very easy to do so. He bites and bites at it, but he hasn’t popped it or anything like that. It feels pretty durable overall, and it’s like a canvas feeling on the outside of the ball and even that hasn’t shredded. it’s a bit bigger than a basketball and it’s very light.

I purchased this 18-inch herding ball for my golden retriever, and it’s absolutely perfect for his daily exercise! The canvas fabric is surprisingly tough and hasn’t torn after weeks of rough chasing, tugging and biting. The colorful loop handles make it super easy for me to toss, and my pup loves pushing it around the yard for hours. It holds its round shape well without deflating, and the large size prevents him from swallowing any pieces. A fantastic toy to burn my high-energy dog’s extra energy!

This is a great toy for those super "extra" kinda dogs. Works them up into a lather then rinse, repeat. Worth every penny. T-u-f-f material and construction. Hope my pup never tires of it cause I won't tire watching every hilarious second.

I have a mini Australian shepherd who absolutely loves to herd. Im hoping this ball will give him the necessary feelings so he stops herding my sons so much 😆. I was hoping to get it blown up and use it this weekend but that hasnt happened yet. When I get it blown up I will try to update if he loves it! This does come with everything you need though. The pump and cover, so helpful. Im excited to try it!
