Wooden Marbles and Jokers Board Game Set

Very well made. Great quality! A fun game in which this particular model can be divided into two, 4 player game boards or used as a single 8 player game board. Having these options makes it a great value for the price. I highly recommend!

I like this game set because it is customizable for 2 (really 3 or 4) to 8 players, with two ways to play. Everything is included, from the two sets of marbles (olne for the jokers and marbles game, which uses cards for movement) to the board game pieces. You can play the game like sorry! or you can use the included instructions to use the cards to determine movement, both have their pros and cons. The cards option has a page with four sets of instructions to let you know each cards value and movement details, making it a lot easier to play when you don't have to remember some of the odder instructions. Each board piece is well made, of solid wood and bright colored paint. They click together, depending on how many people want to play and the shape of the game table, With all 8 pieces, it is supposed to be an octagon shape but it can easily be a rectangle or square, depending on the shape of the table. You can play individually or in groups. Everything comes in a rough and tough canvas bag, making it easy to transport to the beach or the cabin or wherever. I think it is a great value with lots of gameplay, and gameplay options.

My family enjoyed laying out all of the pieces and discovering the variety of games available in one convenient zippered bag. I recommend that you use the photos in the listing for examples of how to set up the wooden game board. There are instruction sheets for the Jokers and Marbles game played on the board that is similar to Parcheesi in my son's opinion. :) The wooden sections are as brightly colored as the marbles that match each and they fit together with a clever peg and groove on each end. In addition to the Jokers and Marbles game pieces, there are 3 additional full decks for use in any card games, glass marbles similar to those used in old school street marbles and a small burlap bag for marble storage. I found the game pieces to be well designed, made from quality materials and all conveniently stored in the durable zippered bag. This game is very easy to learn and great for all ages. We like to have game night on Sundays and this was a fun game to learn. You can play with up to 8 players which is fun. It is a heavy well made game. It breaks down and comes in a storage bag. I found the quality to be very good. It kept us busy all night and everyone had a good time.

This is simple to put together. You can see in one of the photos that I uploaded, you just put one side over another and they fit into place. It came with five marbles of each of the eight colors, the eight panels, four decks of cards, six six-sided die, game instructions, a marble pouch and a carrying case for the whole thing. We have friends who pulled out a game similar to this one day and we enjoyed it.

Well made boards, directions seem different depending on who taught you!

Jokers and marbles game is fun to play. Learning the game is fas and easy. The board pieces are of good quality. It comes with two types of marbles. I personally prefer the solid colored ones to the glass spectrum ones. The game comes in a canvas carry bag. Very convenient when bring game to a friends house.
